I can truly relate, Marianne! It’s way, way better now, but for me, it’s deeply connected with grief.

I have found that travel almost always gives me a healthier perspective, especially those places that provide either a sense of awe in nature or a historical context of some sort.

I’m currently in Kenya, so excited for our first day of safari, and as always I feel as if our late son Robert is “coming along.”. We can’t wait!

This is amazing, Marianne! Thank you for sharing the life you have continued to create, the work you’ve accomplished, the contribution you continue to make, the places you’ve allowed yourself to go, and perhaps most of all, your willingness to let joy back in.

You’ve created a remarkable chapter of your life, and I’m so happy you’re sharing it with all of us.

And I second that Hilary would approve!

I love this. I am looking forward to hearing about your upcoming trips, especially to the Basque region. Hilary would, without a doubt, approve. Enjoy yourself and let go of that guilt.
